Wilfreds Barber Shop opened on West Pearl Street in 1937 by the original owner Wilfred Peloquin. The shop was later passed on to its Second owner of 52 years and is now in the hands of Marine Veteran Dave Pothier . Take a trip back in time with your first step in our shop. Focussing on Classic Old School barbering Wilfreds persona represents that of a shop your Grandfather may have attended in his youth.
Where the interior has a warm collection of Heroism from countless treasures of Police, Fire and Military memorabilia proudly displayed on the walls. A place where great conversation takes place. A non politically correct, Patriotic, American grooming establishment. One of the last places where a man can actually still be a Man. The American and POW Flag fly daily outside. Stop in Have a cold refreshment out of the fridge and engage in the conversation of the shop. Predominantly a WALK-INS only style shop. All ages are welcomed from a small child's first haircut, all the way up to a Senior citizens. The atmosphere of our shop adjusts by the customers that are visiting us. We can be rough around the edges and loosen up but with the flip of a switch Professional and courteous around Women and Small children.
